Honda announces winners of NaviCustomania Concludes; Winner Takes Home INR 2 Lakh , II Honda announces winners of #HondaNAViCustomania


HMSI brought a change in the way we see scooters with the introduction of the Honda NAVi in 2016. This was complemented by a competition which let NAVi owners customise their vehicles and showcase those. Called #HondaNAViCustomania, it has finally come to an end, and the winners have been chose.
Out of the final 24 entries, Dhananjay Parihar won the first prize, a sum of Rs 2 lakhs as the prize money, and the chance to showcase his design at the 2018 Auto Expo. Ashiq Joseph Thomas, the runner up in the contest, won Rs 1 lakh. The contest also extended to web and app users (who weren’t Honda NAVi owners), and out of more than 5500 entries, Jyugaandh Veer Singh and Lalith Ankala were announced the winners.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd has announced the national winners of #HondaNAVicustomania at the Grand Finale of the event that was held in Delhi. The winners were felicitated by the President and CEO of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Minoru Kato.
The event was glorified with a grand Bollywood Music Project. Thousands of youth were gathered to witness the Bollywood music performances. The Japanese automaker has initiated this event with the aim of building a group of like-minded customization and creativity enthusiasts.
Since its launch in 2016, NAVi has provided the customers, especially the youngsters with endless possibilities in creative customization. NAVi has been designed in such a manner that it makes a way for significant modifications and customization to match the customer’s taste.
Speaking on the Grand Finale event, the Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing of Honda, Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria said, “NAVi Customania is a platform for youngsters to project their self-expression on two wheels. What is most interesting is to see is the trend of customisation being developed, not just in metros but smaller cities as well.”



#HondaNAViCustomania is a first-of-its-kind initiative where the automaker provides a lucrative opportunity to the customers to flaunt their creativity by customizing their two-wheelers. In just over one month’s of the journey, NAVi Customania contest has registered more than 10,000 participants from across the country. The participants were provided with an opportunity to be guided by India’s finest customization mentors - Mr. Yogi Chhabria and Mr. Mukul Nanda.

The City Finales were conducted in 12 major cities (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Goa, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi and Pune) and two winners from each city were selected for the Grand Finale.
Amongst the top 24 competitors, Mr. Dhananjay Parihar from Indore wins the contest and gets the grand prize of Rs 2 lacs along with the golden opportunity to showcase his custom NAVi at Honda 2Wheelers India pavilion at the upcoming Auto Expo 2018. Mr. Ashiq Joseph Thomas from Kottayam gets the runner-up prize and won Rs 1 lac.
