New Mini 2018 range gets updated design, specs and technologyIt is one of the most popular cars in the UK and its latest updates are likely just to bolster this appeal.
Of the exterior visual changes, the most notable is the new LED tail-lamps which have the Union Jack imprinted into the lens, which are now standard feature.
LED headlights have also been fitted alongside a new single-ring daytime running lights.
Apart the new badge, three additional paint options and alloy wheel designs, exterior upgrades are evolutionary.
Inside the car a 6.5-inch touchscreen has been fitted as standard along with USB and Bluetooth connectivity and a multifunction steering wheel.
This touchscreen comes with MINI Navigation with Apple Car Play and MINI Connected Services with Real Time Traffic Information (RTTI), Online Search, Natural Language Understanding and Concierge Service.
Elsewhere there is an extended range of leather trim, new interior backlit surfaces and colour lines.
As standard all new MINIs comes with a six-speed manual gearbox but each model will also be available with a 7-speed Steptronic transmission with double clutch.

Prices for the car are expected to be slightly higher than the £14,640 starting price of the outgoing Mini.
