Bajaj Auto has just launched the Black Pack edition of its popular Pulsar range in India. Under the new edition, the Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 220 are being offered with a new paint scheme. The Pune-based manufacturer has launched the Black Pack edition to celebrate 1 crore unit sales of Bajaj Pulsar motorcycles worldwide. The Bajaj Pulsar Black Pack edition comes with white alloy wheels along with new decals. Besides, the new Bajaj Pulsar Black Pack edition also offers satin chrome exhaust cover and the rest of the motorcycle is in black. The company has not yet disclosed the price of the Bajaj Pulsar Black Pack edition, which means that the pricing should either be the same or marginally higher than the standard models. Bookings for the Pulsar Black Pack edition have begun at company's dealerships across India.
Launched back in the year 2001, the Bajaj Pulsar range has been extremely popular in India and a key reason for this is the timely updates given to the range and addition of new models regularly. Bajaj Pulsar has offered many segment-first features over the years including side stand indicator along with twin pilot lamps that were present in no other bike at that point of time. Furthermore, self-cancelling indicators and digital-analogue instrument cluster were also not seen before and hence, the Pulsar had an edge over its competition. In mid-2017, Mr Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director at Bajaj Auto said that new variants will be coming soon under the Pulsar umbrella and going by recent information the brand has plans to launch the Pulsar RS 400 in the coming months.

NEW DELHI: Celebrating one crore sales milestone of the Pulsar series worldwide, Bajaj Auto Ltd (BAL) on Tuesday introduced the 'Black Pack' edition of its selected Pulsar models. The special edition is available in Pulsar 150, 180 and 220F without any additional cost above the prices of the standard models.
The Bajaj Pulsar Black Pack edition is exclusively available in a premium black paint scheme which gets matte grey highlights with red accents and white alloy wheels, enhancing bikes' appearance

As far as the mechanical updates are concerned, the Black Pack edition is exactly similar to the standard models. The Bajaj Pulsar 150 continues to offer 14PS of power and 13.4Nm of torque, and the Pulsar 180 delivers 17PS and 14.2Nm.
Launched in 2007 as the most powerful Indian motorcycle, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F delivers 21PS and 18.5Nm of torque.
Bajaj Pulsar 180 Black Pack edition
The last update to all the three models, introduced exactly a year ago in December 2016, was called 'Laser Edged' Pulsars. Besides new colour schemes, the new models received BS-IV compliant engines with new exhaust, blue-backlit instrument cluster display (was orange in the previous versions) and improved seats. However, the major update was introduced for Pulsar 180 in the form of an ever missed rear disc brake, improving the stopping performance of the bike.
As we mentioned above that there is not any extra cost for the Black Pack edition and it starts at Rs 76,723 for the Pulsar 150 and goes up to 93,683 for the Pulsar 220F. Bridging the gap between these two models, the Pulsar 180 comes with a price tag of Rs 81,651. (All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi)
